My computer used to first go to the Hp blue logo screen, then a black screen and words that asked please select: Windows Media Center 2005 or Windows Recovery Console, but, after reformatting my computer, it dosen't show that black screen anymore....ideas?

Lol, no one will help me and ive asked this 4 times!
I have a PCI port, and a PCI express X1 port, and i want to play ghost recon AW. can i use the X1 port as my primary graphics card?
"PCI-E x1 isn't for VGA cards. " Some one else said that.

I tried to plug in the USB slot of my external hard disk to my computer's friend. However, after finished installed and there was an icon of the system stray indicated that the hard disk was plugged in, there was not hard disk drive appeared on My Computer. There were only drive C and D, but my external hard disk drive was not there. How can I solve this problem?

When I start up my laptop I get a message saying that IE encountered a problem will close down. It gives me two choices either “send error report” or “cancel”. Either one I click, it will close the error box and the system will not continue to start up. I just upgraded my IE from 6 to 7 and I started having this problem. I tried on safe mode and same thing happens again. I just want to go back one day so the system will be back to the way it was the previous day. Please help. The problem is that I can't get to the Windows menu. I can’t get to the control panel

how can i convince my mom to let me get a myspace?....all of my friends have them and i really want one.....but my mom thinks that i am going to go on there and talk to people that i don't know...and if i did get one then she would want to know my password and everything and i wouldn't want her to be looking at my myspace or my friends but i guess that is better than not having one at all

Hubby & I use the same computer, but of course have separate log-ons, e-mails, accounts, etc. When I run clean-up programs, does that do any "house-cleaning" for him? I think its sluggish when he's signed on.

I have struggled through years of data entry and office jobs without this skill and am mortified that supervisors, etc. will find out...they have and it was awful.....I guess I tried to just tough it out, but I am very discouraged about not having this basic skill...I have checked bookstores, etc, without success seeking a tutorial of sorts! Please let me know how I can self teach myself!!!

when I boot my laptop I get a message "NTLDR is missing press cntl alt del to restart". I cant even boot from the CD, it says the same thing. Yes, I set the boot first for the CD Rom, No, its not a faulty disc. It was working just fine 5 minutes before....let me explain what I did before than. I wanted to put back 98SE on my laptop, it was running Win 2000. I wanted to leave win2000 on there, just in case so i made sure it was in a seperate partition. I have done this before, so it's not that. I think I accidentally set the windows partition for FAT32, but I dont see how that is completely unfixable. It wont even format. I was in the process of formatting with the setup cd, and it wouldnt let me proceed without a floppy, I dont have one...so I rebooted, and its been stuck like this ever since.....please help!!!!!!
