How can I transfer slides to a DVD via the computer?

You need a scanner that has slide & tranparency capabilities. Scan the slides then burn to the DVD disk.

If you want a DVD format slideshow, try using Microsoft Movie Maker. Import the slides, drag them into the storyboard, add some transitions for pizzaz then save them as a movie and choose the DVD option.

If they are already on your computer, insert a blank DVD into your burner, open the slides and "save as" to the burner drive.
