My computer is a GenuinIntel Celeron I have Award Plug and Play BIOS extension v1.0A.
I have gone to Intel's website, but it was too confusing. Can someone help?
I run Windows 98se w/ 64mb RAM
Any help would be very much apreciated

Thanks for your help! Sorry I should have put more info. I bought the RAM from crucial.com, they scan your system to identify what would fit your system. I put them in, they fit no problem. When I turn on my pc it loads fine and everything runs just like I never installed it. I believe my mainboard in about 7 yrs old. I mentioned this to the "help section" of their website, but that was what they said (the BIOS upgrade)

current operating systems use hard drives to provide virtual memory right? Hard disks are slow but cheap memory - right? memory sticks have come down a lot in price; I have just bought a 3.77GB stick for £22.00. With the advent of hi speed usb providing 480mbp/s with compatible products,couldn't a flash drive be used as an ultra quick easily allocatable alternative to hard drive virtual memory . i.e. creating some serious RAM!!

I own an ipod photo and today a friend borrowed my iPod. After an our or so, she returns my iPod only to find out that the songs are gone! The "music" option isn't even there anymore. What confuses me is that the photos are still intact and whenever I attach my iPod to my computer and sync the songs, it will say that it's done updating, but the songs still won't appear in my iPod.

Hi, in the past I have just bought packs of d.v.d's for making slide shows for my mum and I have had no problems, I have bought two lots of fifty blank d.v.d and they do not work,now I am looking on Ebay to buy some more and I am totaly confused with all the different ones, for instance what is 8x----- and 16x--- mean and what is Dual layer? can someone please tell me what to buy please? I am wanting to set up a general message board website using VBulletins as the set up. Twice now, since I started enjoying Answers, I have been writing what I think is a great (and clean) answer and Suddenly Out Of The Blue my whole screen just flips OFF before I can submit my answer!! It's spooky when it seems like "they" can reject my answer before I'm even Through Writing It. BOTH TIMES, the question was controversial and tricky and that's what made it so important to me.

Just coincidence???

Or can Yahoo Answers read what I am typing on my keyboard AS I am typing? (I'm no PC teach, obviously!) But some of YOU ARE and I need to learn.

I'm looking for a testing centre, I have been working in IT for the last 6 years, i've just purchased a A+ book to study for the exam. I have taken a few of the practise questions on the CompTIA website and knew all except 1.

I want to backup my FAT32 "C" drive to an external NTFS drive that already has stuff on it that I don't want to lose. How can I do this? I then want to make my comp drive a NTFS. Can I then run the (FAT32 saved ) progs and data from the external drive back onto on my now NTFS "C" drive?

it is when i send photos from my pc, i send the photo in email it says it had not sent 'error' but then it is received at the other end but it will keep sending it untill i can delete it, can any one please help??? going mad as to why.
