I am wanting to set up a general message board website using VBulletins as the set up. So I know I have to buy my own domain name, can anyone let me know the best site to buy that from and does anyone know how VBulletins works, I hear you just have to lease or purchase the program and then host it to your website, can anyone give me any pointers here, this is my first time setting up a website. Before you start setting up an actual domain, with paid hosting etc, I advise you practise setting up your software on a free host.
http://www.byethost.com is a good place to start, once you feel confident on setting it up anywhere, then buy a domain name (http://www.godaddy.com) and get some better hosting. But make sure you feel confident first, so you don't lose loads of money.
