I need to know how to mute my videos on the PC and add my own music? I can do this on my mobile phone so surely I can on the PC?

Sometimes when it freeses up, even pressing the three buttons doesn't take care of the freeze. I usually end up having to un-plug, wait awhile and then turn the machine on and HOPE that it won't freeze up again.

i am going to buy a laptop but for a change i want to try mac, i have used one in high school they used to be in library and it used to freak me out because they were so complicated i never found what was where...so which one is really better? should i stick to old windows or give another chance to macs?

My wife spends around 16 hours a day on the internet making websites and helping other people develop theres too.

We both go to bed at the same time and I wake up around 6.30 in the morning to get the kids ready for school, but she doesnt get out of bed until about 11-12 as she claims she has had a bad nights sleep?

Could the long amount of times she is spending in front of a monitor be affecting the way she sleeps?

Whenever I put a blank DVD or blank CD in my disc drives my computer restarts automatically. Normal DVDs and CDs don't affect it, it's just Blank discs.

I want to get a computer that will run games, so it would be a gaming computer I am looking at. I have a price limit of 600 dollars. I saw some deals at Bestbuy and circuit city for branded packaged comps for like 500 dollars. looking for expert advice here. Hey there! I just bought a mac computer two days ago, and im still conditioned to the windows computers. Is there any advice you'd like to give me? XD Such as how to copy and paste text from websites? (That ones been giving me trouble -___- ) And can you print screens? Also, are their anti-virus softwares?

I bought my computer about a year ago. It is running windows XP, it's a gateway. It has just over a gig of RAM.... why is it running slow? why is my sound skipping? why are my videos skipping/freezing? What can I do to get my computer running in tip top condition again? Please explain ALL tests and fixes that I can go through to fix it. I don't want to take it in and pay for someone else to do it I"d rather do it myself. PLEASE help
