i have 1000 attachments and some of them i would like to delete. i have tried to get help from tech support, but no direct answeres

delete the emails.the attachment will also get deleted. are u serious you didnt know this

Sounds like you should do some serious house cleaning. Why on earth are you saving 1000 e-mails and attachments? They are using your allotted space. Soon you may not be able to receive any e-mail.
Also, if you were not aware of it, if you opted to keep a copy of mail you sent in the "sent" folder, you had better clean that out, too.

its better to save all attachment u want on ur computer and delete others on ur mail
