I remember one day I was reading my friends aim profile a longg time ago. And it had this really weird story about ghosts and stuff and a computer virus and then there was this link and it said to check if you have the ghost computer virus click here. so i clicked it and then my disk drive opened i closed and clicked the link again and it opened again.

Does anyone know what the link is or where i can find it?

im a graphic editor.so i have Nvidia Geforce 6500,processor is intel p4 multiprocessor with HTT.3.00GHZ ,RAM IS 1GB.+200GB sata hdd .I work wit adobe photoshop 7 .bluetooth,infrared and scanner is attached .cd rom and a dvd rw.dialup modem and a lancard.onboard chip sata ide controller.now tell me plz why it has become something like p3 after one month use.

just finished a 3-4 hour clean/reinstall on a friends computer. He had a terrible virus what wouldn't let him load ANYTHING. I had to reinstall windows (the easy part) but.... he has a Gateway!!!! You know how gateway is that sometimes they give you everythign but sometimes they don't (driver wise). Well, i had to go the driver site and download a butt load of drivers from my computer and load them on his and back and forth and back and forth. Anyway, the point of the question is:

whats the longest you've spent "fixing" a computer??
and
give me the biggest/bestest whoopie you can think of.

the computer that i have is a HP Microsoft Windows XP Mediea Center Edition 2005. I just turn the computer on and i waited it to load, but the thing is that that it never loaded. It just frized but u could still move the mouse, but you could not press it because it didn`t load. You couldn`t press nothing, just move the mouse.So i couldn`t turn off the computer from the windaoso i turned the plug off, and the computer turned off. Then i waited about 1 minute and i turned it back on and everything loaded correctly. So can someone please tell me what to do when that happens again. Thank you.

All of my fellow students use them because of the medical software that is available. I have a computer at home so a pc on the go isn't necessary. I just want something that can hold a lot of medical software and informatiion and maybe calendars and appointments. any suggestions?
