Sure: ingredients....1/2 pint gasoline, 1 CD, and 1 match = Burnt CD
Seriously.....if you just got a new computer and it came equipped with a CD burner, then chances are it also came with a software program installed on it to burn CDs. It's not hard, most programs will auto-load the program when you put a blank CD in the ROM Drive. Just follow directions!

Look under start -> all programs for a program called Nero or else one called Easy CD Creator that may have been included with your computer.
You can use those programs to burn cds (make music cds or put data files on cds).
If you have neither of those programs, there is a free program which will work that is called CDBurnerXP: http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
I forgot to mention, if you only want to burn files to a cd, you do not need any software. XP supports it by itself. Go to My Computer, then double click your cd-r drive icon. Then you can just drag files into that, and click the burn a cd link when you are done.

Put it in a fire! No ... get a program like Nero and follow the instructions - it is easy. You will have no probs. You can also burn to a cd using MS Media Player and Windows allows you to write files to a CD. You can also use the following program which will let you burn CDs for free. Have fun:

First you need to find your CD burning software. I like Sonic because it tells me how much room is left on the CD after I've started loading files. You will have to drag and drop files to the software (or browse) and then click on burn. Its that easy.
