All of my fellow students use them because of the medical software that is available. I have a computer at home so a pc on the go isn't necessary. I just want something that can hold a lot of medical software and informatiion and maybe calendars and appointments. any suggestions?

Hi, I asked this question on QnA and the response was over whelming! The Palm TX was chosen as best for the medical profession cause it is better with organization and scheduling, and the pocket PC is better for multi media..

palms are solid for battery life and simplicity of use, and that they are frequently greater low fee. Pocket pc is better for overall performance yet frequently expenditures greater. i've got used the two systems and enjoyed them, yet i'd say I want my Axim X51v to the Zire seventy one i grow to be utilizing previously via VGA show screen and the massive form of efficient purposes it could run.

Check out the SOFTWARE first and see what it works on ..then purchase the device..
