I stay up all night one night trying to figure out how to get a auto dial-up off my mom Computer. Boy that wasn't any fun if you know what I mean. The catch is knowing which file belong where and which don't because virus like to hide, duclicate and regenerate if you know what I mean. You remove one file and another two will appear in another file. Then you have to find all of them and then restart you computer without getting the wrong one...

Biggest/bestest(sic) whoopie was when I removed a badly written, insecure, bloated carcass of a program called Windows from my computer and 'fixed' it by installing Linux. Since then the only screw-ups have been MY doing, and mine alone. No spyware, no virii, no WGA, no worries.

I didn't fix a computer; my dad and his co-workers did since they're engineers. Of course, I was panicking because ALL of my files were on there, including my videos (4 gigs), manga, songs, pictures, all of which took me years to amass! Of course, at the end of it all (a week without my personal computer *cries*), they deemed my computer DEAD because every time they turned it on, it'd just freeze and shut down. *sigh* Of course, my dad was able to save ALL of my files from the hard drive onto my new external USB 100 gigs hard drive, Zippo... (that's right! I named my hard drive! You got a problem with that!?! Well, too bad!) So all's good... and my collection managed to multiply quite a bit after I learned how to use IRC... *smiles* Sooo much mangaaa.... like, 10 gigs worth now and still growing! Hehe...

I was smart and made an image of the drive before anything went wrong. When it did, I just restored the image.
