I was being stupid and clicked the link from Yahoo Administator (Big Nasty Trucker in disguise), now I have a virus is there anyway I can remove it from my computer?

How can I improve the performance of my computer. The CPU usage spikes causing massive slowdown and it takes an age to startup. I fixed the problem before by wiping the machine and reinstalling windows but I don't want to have to do that again.

Sometimes when I use my webcam the picture is very dark and is green. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and it might be fine for a little bit, but sometimes it starts up dark and green again. What is the issue here?

I can't afford DSL are there any gadgets out there that can let you know when you have a phone call--with dail up. Please only serious answers reply. Sometime I am on computer my Physician calls and I do not get the call until after I get off the computer. If I knew the call was coming I would not be on the phone. Thanks very much-

My boyfriend is sending me some drawings that he has done to make a book. I need to be able to input the picture into my computer and send it in JPEG format to someone else to print it out and bind it. Is it better to use a scanner or buy a digital camera and take a picture of it then upload it? I am an absolute beginner and really need some input. Thank you for all your help.

The 'internet explorer' start up was inadvertently removed from the lower left task bar (yes, I am an idiot!) and was put on the desktop as a shortcut.....please help me put it back, I have right clicked on the shortcut and there is no option to replace it where it originated from. HELP Please!!! (this is not my computer...boy am I in trouble!)

Before I reformat my hard drive, I copied/saved all my outlook express dbx folders into my memory stick. After reformatting, I tried to import the folders back into outlook express but failed. It could not locate those folders no matter where I put them, even where folder is supposed to be stored. (C:\Documents and Settings\Felix K\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{C749446B-0623-45F7-891A-E2D5AD3DBF93}\Microsoft\Outlook Express) But all the dbx folders just can't be detected at all. Help is very much appreciated.
