I just got a virus about 10 min ago opening a page on this site.I now have a virus called spawn[1].htm.I have AVG and it can not heal these viruses and move it to the virus vault.What can I do?And if they stay on my computer, what are the long term affects?Can someone please tell me how to get rid of them without taking my computer to a professional?

I want to fit about 800 songs onto a cd-rw 700mb disc
i dont need to be able to play the songs. i have them all on my ipod, but ive had some trouble with ipods before and dont want to lose all my music. i dont want to use up a lot of memory on my computer either by keeping all the songs. so i would just like to store all the music on a disc...is there any program i can used to do it? i tried putting the music on as files and couldn't fit them all on that way either

Im afraid that all people I don't know are online preatodors how do I know how that person will be nice. How do I know if he will be nice. How will I know how to say Do you want to meet somewhere? with out them thinking im an online preatodor. I don't want to scare them away if I feel a connection?!

Installed new Windows XP Home Edition on Sunday evening, Windowa program I had before that said it was a bootleg version,, and Microsoft wouldnt download updates,, therefore got a virus and Microsoft shut down computer,,, So had to get the new Windows XP Homedition with service pack two.. Thou when computer was reformated ,, lost audio device and now have no sound,, Can someone please tell me how to download an audio device,, so I have sound again? I don't know which I should get(cost does not matter), I plan to use it for the internet, games, chating, and for college. I will have photos and music on there, but won't do any editing. I don't know if I should get a notebook, or a desktop. I have been a pc user, will it be hard for me adjust? I just want to be prepared for when I get it. Please help :)

I have a 30GB iPod Vido, 5th Generation - it's really pretty new. The battery was dead, and I've re-charged it, but not it won't turn on. It shows a little icon with "Charged" at the top. I've pressed the bottom - the middle - the Menu....any ideas?

I had to fdisk my c: drive. I've reinstalled XP and thought I had saved all my pictures so a CD. Only problem is when I tried to restore them, the CD was empty. Does XP have a utility to search for *.jpeg, *.jpg and *.gif files that were deleted due to the fdisk and restore them? If not, does anyone know of a TRULY free product I can use? The "free" ones i've found only scan for free, but don't restore them unless you buy the product. HELP!!!!!!!

You watch tv (and computers) at night or in an obscure place where the only light comes from the screen and it's harmful, I get that. But then, why are the films that they play in the movies are not harmful??
