I like using the comparison of your computer as a bookcase.
Your harddrive is like a shelf in the bookcase
A folder on your harddrive is like a book in the shelf
A file in that folder is like a page in the book
A bit is like a letter on that page
8 bits = 1 byte (1B)
1024 bytes = 1 Kilobyte (1k)
1024 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte (1M)
So 3M is 3 Megabytes = 1024 Kilobytes = 8,388,608 bits or 8,388,608 letters on the page of the book on the shelf of your bookcase.
6k is 6 kilobyte = 49,152 letters on the page of the book on the shelf of your bookcase.

Reading the publication instead of enjoying the movie is the ultimate way to see what the writer meant. Reading uses your thoughts, hones your reading skills, and can make your vocabulary
