i have 2 hard drive and both of them have xp on it....how do i create or make a multi or dual boot that will let me go to anyone of them...thank...

All my friends have Macs and I have worked on Mac in the labs but I work with PC home. I feel comfy with the PC but I like the quality of the Macs. I heard it is very expensive to maintain a Mac well if something goes wrong you would have to buy a new one, but with a PC it does not take much to fix or upgrade the system.
Which computer do any of you recommend? Could I get a PC with a 1GB or similar to the G5s in Macs?

my pc is protected by AVG and on the last scan told me that I have 5 infected files..which it says are imbedded in the archive, and one trojan in there somewhere as well. AVG does not give me a way to get them out of there and I don't know how to do it otherwise. I am SO not techno savvy about this sort of thing and I need HELP.. NOW!! If you can help me with this, you won't only get the 10 points for best answer, but you will have my UNDYING gratitude for LIFE!! PLEASE explain it VERY simply for my un-techno brain to comprehend.. ok so a couple of times i tried to buy things off the net, then i get contacted saying my billing information for my card does not match, then i call my bank and the only address they have for me is the one i gave the company as my billing address. should i be afeared? is there a site or something to check for free if someone is using your idenity or credit information? i havn't noticed any money missing from the account. please help im at wits end here thanks much.

I downloaded some drivers for use with my router. It was a zip file which only contained one file in it. This file was a .dlf file. I was expecting a .inf file. Anyone know what to do with this file to get my router working?

I have two old pcs and want to combine them into one pc.I need to burn my personal files from
pc A to pc B. But only pc B have burner. I will have to remove harddisk from pc A and fit into pc B.
May i know if pc B will automatically detect pc A's harddisk and allocate a drive name for that?
If so, can i access the pc A's files immediately and burn the files to cd?
Anyone knows how much will it cost to do
these at a reasonable price? Thanks

Pc A is an amd 350mhz pc without burner 10G hdd
Pc B is Pentium 2 pc with burner 20G hdd

I am looking for a notebook that is lightweight, has high speed, great storage and won't die on me within 5 years. I am going into Real Estate and I want a notebook. I am thinking about buying a Dell PC. I also want the notebook capable of doing multiple tasks, such as word processing, wireless internet access and presentations. I don't want to spend a lot of money. My budget is $2,000.

Can anyone suggest what to look for and what is the importance of a hardrive, software, GM and other things like that. I don't understand..

I got a .Net passport for my pc to use and all, got it all figured out, except every time i sign in a window pops up saying i need to check my email and confirm my account. Also it won't let me change my name. I did what it told me to and thought i was done but it still does it. does it have to do with having a custertel account with windows messenger? pleaz help

ever since the day before yesterday, my computer has just been REALLY slow. Every time i turn the computer on and log on to my account(becacuse i have WindowsXP) it takes about 3 minutes for my screen to pop up. and everytime i want the computer to do something like log on to check my e-mail or play a game, the hourglass on the mouse just keeps spinning for about 2 minutes before the screen can come on. and the computer isn't telling me that i have an error or nothing. i am soo confused! am i maybe logging on something that will make my computer slow or is that normal? because it used to be really fast.

on my computer monitor bigger (I mean even this)? I have a horrible screen and yes, I know I need to get a new one. Anyone know any tricks to make the lettering bigger (not in word but everything - internet and all)?
