i have 2 hard drive and both of them have xp on it....how do i create or make a multi or dual boot that will let me go to anyone of them...thank...

i know how to get to boot.ini but dont know how to change the setting. does it have something to do with the # with ( ) on it.

u might try looking on microsoft.com for running more than one windows on the same computer. its got lots of info there

Definitely go with the boot.ini option, makes it very nice and clean for you to choose which one you want to boot. If you can't find your c:\boot.ini file, you might have to unhide protected operating system files in the folder options, or just edit it straight from the Settings button in Startup and Recovery by going to Control Panel > System > Advanced tab.

changing the boot.ini file on your c drive will allow you to do this.

also changing the boot.ini file on your c drive will make it so you dont have to mess with your bios but just make sure to make a backup of the file first

Just access your BIOS at the start of your computer (I usually have to hit the F1 or F2 key when I see my computer logo), and change the boot priority to whichever hard drive you want to boot into.
