I'm 16, average guy.
So I met this friend online on a social network randomly and it has almost been a month. We like to talk to each other and it is my birthday next week. She asked me for my mailing address so she can send me something as I live in Canada and she lives in America.

I'm still wondering if i should. I need some help. If I give it to her, what can she possibly do with it? Can I be in danger of any kind? Please, I don't know what to do. Declining it wouldn't be nice, but I don't want to cause any problems. Please help. Thank you.

Just been on facebook and viewed a profile of a person i dont even know. I was scrolling down and noticed a say welcome box, with my name in it!!!!!

What the hell is going on. How do they know i viewed their page???!!!

I have a friend with a semi common name. Of course I contact the wrong person, requesting her to be my friend. I think, no problem, this person has no idea who i am, she'll ignore the request. No, the woman is so desperate for friends she accepts my request, and now i get hourly updates on her various activities.

How do i get rid of her?

If a person has trackzar can they see everyone who looks at there profile? I believe on Facebook it only works if you are logged into the application, but what about myspace?
I underatand the security benefits, but is or is it not a privacy violation?
I'm asking from a legal perspective here?

Ok this is the story:
I wanted to sign up for face book, so I go on the site and put all my info and click the sign up button and it changed pages and said: JavaScript is currently disabled on your browser.
In order to sign up for Facebook, you must have JavaScript enabled. For instructions on how to configure your browser, select from the list of supported browsers below:
So they tell me to enable my active java but my active java is already enabled! So my friend signs up for me on her computer cuz it wasn't working on my computer and now when ppls are trying to add me has friends I click the confirm button but nothing happens!!!
Plz someone help!!!

My albums are still on my account, however, they aren't displayed on my main profile page. The photo albums used to be a part of my main profile, and I must have accidently deleted the my photos box. My friend-A has uploaded some pictures of us on her facebook album and tagged them with my name; I can see them on my facebook page. But my other friend-B said he couldn't view those pictures. Is it because Friend-A and B are not friends of each other so friend-B cannot see those pictures on friend-A's facebook, even though the pictures are tagged of me? Is there anyway to allow friend-B to view those pictures?

OK so here's the whole story:
I wanted to sign up to facebook because it looks fun and all my friends have one, so I go on the site and start signing up, then I click the sign up botton after putting all my info and the page changes and this is what it says, "JavaScript is currently disabled on your browser.
In order to sign up for Facebook, you must have JavaScript enabled. For instructions on how to configure your browser, select from the list of supported browsers below:" so I follow the steps and here they are: "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Windows:
Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
Click the Security tab.
Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
Under Active Scripting, choose Enable."
So I go do that and it says my Active Scripting is already enabled!!!
So now I'm starting to get really pissed off!!!
So if anyone has a solution plz post it here, cuz I really need help!!!

If someone uploads pictures and wants to tag you, is there a way to prevent it? or at least to have Facebook to ask you to confirm if you accept to be tagged on that picture or not?

Normally, you'll never know who has seen your profile, but there might be an "Application" out there that lets you know who has seen your profile lately.

I want to be able to see who all has seen my profile, and if there are any particular frequent visitors, so does anyone have that sort of application, and/or can they link it to me, please? Thanks.

I'm trying to use Facebook and you need your JavaSCRIPT enabled and when I go check if it's enabled it says it's enabled!!! And when I go see if I have the latest version of java it says I do!!! So now on Facebook I cant confirm when someone adds me!!! What do I do???
