I've been told it's usually being used by people up their own backside - What's the appeal? and why do people pay the guy who invented it so much money? What's the story should it be closed down now?

Actually, Facebook is free to use. It is a great way to keep in touch with friends. There are also Applications that can be added to your profile...a lot of them are fun games you can play with your friends. I think's it's a neat way to keep in touch with everyone and have some fun.

lol its a free site(aka doesnt cost anything) I personally dont like it, its just another social networking site like myspace, but people say its safer... I know im getting a lot less spam in facebook then in myspace.

Facebook is free..and safer than myspace..and not to mention better-looking, faster, and it has way less ads and crap..
