If a person has trackzar can they see everyone who looks at there profile? I believe on Facebook it only works if you are logged into the application, but what about myspace?
I underatand the security benefits, but is or is it not a privacy violation?
I'm asking from a legal perspective here?

Just FYI, I've heard that these statistics are fake. Just a way to earn revenue for the site. Here's an example of one of those sites for sale:

its definitely not a privacy violation. with trakzor, you can only see the town of the person who viewed your profile. trakzor, or any other one of those applications for that matter, do not give the exact myspace url of the person who viewed your profile. so really, there is no way of knowing who has actually viewed your profile unless that person is a trakzor member too. so i wouldnt really call it a privacy violation because i believe that people do have the right to know who views their myspace profiles.

facebook and mspace trackzar are the same.... people on myspace can only see people who are signed up. so its really not invasion of privacy if your just setting youself up for it. and who cares anyway, everyones a little nosy and if people didnt look at other people's pages then what would the sense be in having myspace or facebook.

No, I dont think so at all.

For one reason only: You can only view the information supplied on trackzar of the people who have also applied these applications to their profiles.

The current name for Tracksor is Profile Feed, I believe. My understanding is that it collects information about IP addresses, which can give general location, but doesn't give the exact name.
