Just been on facebook and viewed a profile of a person i dont even know. I was scrolling down and noticed a say welcome box, with my name in it!!!!!
What the hell is going on. How do they know i viewed their page???!!!

Its a new application, called welcome mat, its just welcoming you, they wont know that you viewed there facebook page x

It's probably one of those dumb facebook apps like Trakzor which lets people see who's viewing/viewed their page and the link can be hidden on their page. Just accept that people can see you or don't go on their page cuz you never know.

Probably a bit of Javascript that reads your profile name and then says hello to you.

YOU PROBABLY CAN GO INTO THE "MY ACCOUNT" TAB AND CHANGE SOME THINGS SO PEOPLE CANT SEE WHO HAS VIEWED THEM,
IF NOT, THEN GO INTO THE HELP SECTION
