I want to edit my name in Facebook as I want to put in my nic name instead. I tried, but it didn't change. Can someone pls tell me how, If it will let me in the first place?

I believe that the name changes on Facebook have to be manually approved by Facebook staff before they will take effect. So just wait until your name change gets processed.

just change it how you would (do it a couple times) and then just wait! thats what i did (i didnt realize that i would acturally use the account and request my friends, so i said my name was Michellie Cloudie Bo Bellie), and my name is really Michelle R..... (not saying it :) and yeah so i just kept trying and putting it in and finally after like a week, it got changed! just keep trying :]

it takes a couple of days for facebook to change ur name. Just be patient

you gotta click save changes at the bottom of the page after changing ur name

You have to request from Facebook - I tried it but they never got back to me!
