Internet - February 2007

After I've browsed for a short while in Internet Explorer, I find that the windows stop loading any pages; every window I have open suddenly takes ages to load anything, and when it finally does it is the 'cannot display webpage' screen. I need to quit all the windows and start from scratch, and the the pages load fine again.
My pc is on XP and is only a few months old with no other issues.
I am not willing to switch to another browser; i want to fix the problem with this one.
Any suggestions?

I'm at work and keep getting sidetracked with surfing the net! I'm finding yahoo answers the perfect excuse to not do any work. Do you feel the internet offers too much of a distraction?

I am still learning about Ebay, a novice really. Can anyone explain the following?

I placed a bid and won a book. It only cost me .99p. When I placed the bid, the postage and packing was listed as £1.01p. So basically £2 in total for the item and shipping. When I went to pay for my item, it said that the P and P was actually £3. Why / how did it change just like that?

when i goto funmaza.com, this sites has bad ads, which comes up and also hang my pc sometimes and also other sites have bad pictures in thier corner space...is there any software to stop and filter them ???

I ran Ccleaner on my computer and now my Tiscali internet connection does not work. I'd run Ccleaner before and my internet was fine, but this time it does not. Did Ccleaner delete some file needed to run the internet? How do I get it back? Should I just reinstall the software I got from Tiscali in the first place?

I did a test and it said my line was broken (I ran some test application that was on the computer. It's the one that shows the four green/red squares). How can I fix this?

(p.s. I'm using my work computer to write this).
