i start at like 15kbps then it jumps down to like 3kbps and slowly goes to like 1kbps. eventually it gets to 400bytes sometimes

And why does Verizon always diss Comcast in its commercials, while Comcast just says "better than dsl," unlike Verizon's "better than "Comcast"? (why specifically Comcast? Is it their main competitor?)

I created a myspace layout with an online editor. Everything is peachy except for my friend's "Online now" icons appear to be HUGE on my page. It happens with either firefox or IE.

In IE6 there was a toolbar across the top with file, edit, etc... and I could send pages or links of websites to people through email. Is there no such choice on the new IE7? Thanks

like I know that you can get a ton of layouts from google then you copy and paste the coding but like where do you paste it b/c when you update ur profile it just says about me and what ever. I am kinda new to MySpace so I don't really get how to do things.

I have tried to register on eBay. However, since I don't have an e-mail address that I pay for, only a free or "annonymous" Yahoo! email account, I haven't been able to. I don't own a credit card either to provide identity confirmation during the registration process so I pretty much cannot set up an eBay account.

Can anyone out there provide any help? Which email provider is the most economical and cost effective for my situation? Can anyone relate similiar experiences? Thanks very much!

I have noticed over the last few months this phenomenon. I have an Internet Explorer Browser open and try to open a new new link (either in new tab or new browser). Instead, the new browser/tab tries to open briefly, but instead both the old and new browers close. The browsers closing does not occur all the time, but rather repeatedly for select links.

Some suggestions I have tried but does not work:
1. Under Internet Options, unchecking box for "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
2. Uninstalling Yahoo Toolbar. I do not have it installed.

I have Google Toolbar installed. Has any seen this same phenonomena occuring because of Google Toolbar?

Somehow some advertisements have gotten onto my computer. I use Firefox, but someone who'd used IE got onto a page that downloaded some ads. I have checked the computer for spyware, bots, and viruses, and all my programs say the computer is clean, yet these things still keep coming up in IE windows. I want to completely disable IE so that this can't continue to happen. Here are the steps I've taken (but they're not enough because IE windows keep coming up).

1-Used Ad-Aware to deep clean my computer for ads and other spyware.
2. Used Spybot S&D to get rid of bots.
3.Went to control panel>add/remove programs>windows components>and from there I disabled Internet Explorer.
4.Used two different antivirus programs to sweep my computer for viruses.

Even after disabling IE, I STILL have these annoying pop-up windows advertising things in an IE browser. What's more is I can surf the net from those pages, in IE! So...what do I do to solve this problem? I use Windows XP if that helps.
