In iE6
Go to tools on the top menu bar.
Choose Internet Options from the drop down list.
On the General tab you can delete cookies and files and also clear your browsing history

In IE7 its slightly different there is a new feature in IE7 called ‘Delete Browsing History’

to find this just go to the Tools menu and you’ll see ‘Delete Browsing History…’. Or whilst you’re in the internet options dialog, you can find this feature under the General tab in the Browsing history section cleverly disguised as the ‘Delete…’ button.

Open IE.
Click on Tools-> Internet Options.
Towards the middle of the window you will find 3 buttons, Delete Cookies, Delete Files & Settings
Click “Delete Files” button.
You will get a pop up, asking, “Delete all files in Temporary Internet Files.
Click on “OK” button.
It will take a while to delete all the Files.
After it is done, click “OK”.

Also, you can do this, to delete the cache everytime you close your IE-
Click on Tools-> Internet Options.
Click the last tab, which is "Advanced".
In the "Settings" box, scroll down to the section labeled "Security,"
Click to check the box next to the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option.
Click OK to finish.
This option does not delete cookies, but it will clear your cache of other files when you close your browser.

Sorry, I'm not a mind reader....... Which browser are you referring to as they are different on how to clear the cache.

I'll take a guess: Netscape = Edit / Preferences / Advanced / Cache / Clear Cache / OK
