I figuered it all out. That ugly empty space in the center of it is caused by the google toolbar. Therefore, remove that and it will go away. With that out of the way, Internet Explorer 7 is the best yet!

I'm doing a college project and basically i need home video footage, i've found a few sites. I now need to download the videos on to my computer so i can edit them. I know how to download videos from well known sites like video google or youtube, but can anyone tell me how to download from fairly unknown video sites, downloading quicktime files specifically.

My broadband is with Be Unlimited. It is advertised as an "up to 24 meg" service but I rarely get anything like that. The online speed tests suggest I am getting anything from 4-6 megs. I've recently moved house and, as a general rule, the 24 meg connection I have now is little faster than the 8 meg connection I had with BT at my old place.

I know it largely depends how far you are away from your BT exchange but I live fairly centrally in London so it shouldn't be too far away.

I'd be interested to know what people's download speeds are, especially if you're also on Be's 24 meg services, and whether I'm just unlucky or whether my speeds are fairly typical. I never really expected to get 24 meg but I did hope for something closer to 10-12 rather than 4-6.

Thanks!

I have MSN instant messaging geared up ready and I can spend up to a hundred quid. Hopefully, this will enable two old mates to hook up for a chat and a beer together!
