You can check the name of the owner of a domain, ifhe properly filled his information.........The websites for whois informations are..........
www.xwhois.com (For .biz, .edu, .info .com, .net, .org i.e. Global Top Level Domains........gTLDs)
www.checkdomain.com (For .co.in, .in, .uk, .co.uk i.e. country level domains)

go to www.whois.com type your web site address and then a button will appear i.e. who is button click on that ...then a page will appear showing the information you want.
however if the owner has not filled proper information you will not get
the information
