If you're using a Graphical (or WYSIWYG) editor, you're already using HTML in your e-mail... which is the easiest way to go. Otherwise, you'll most likely see a "Send as HTML" option when you're writing your e-mail.

Please be aware that some e-mail services (especially the older e-mail systems) DO NOT SUPPORT HTML in e-mails, so it's best to use plain next as much as possible unless you know the person can read HTML e-mails (like users of Yahoo! Mail & Hotmail).

Check the "show HTML" usually situated at the bottom of the writing space.
