Internet - October 2006

Please help, everyone who comes over says how bad it is. Well we dont know how to fix it. Yea we took there advice and now he no longer goes into thing that are bad for your computer, but its not getting better. Somebody please tell me how to fix this problem. Prefferably free, something from download.com or something.

(i have tried pop up blockers that doesnt help, does this mean that the pop ups are "deeper" then the blockers can get to??))
Clearly i dont have the knowledge to fix this, but i do know 6 months ago our computer ran great. Now its freakin rediculous. (btw we have highspeed comcast and we have to wait for things to load...completely not what its suppose to be like. we are paying for highspped, but have to wait like dial up users do. PLEASE PLEASE.
Only real help too please, cause this is last resort.

My internet access will stop working after the computer has been on for a few hours (not online just the computer being on).I have DSL and it will say I'm connected but nothing internet related will work. I then have to restart the computer and everything's fine.It's not really a big deal to have to do this but it confusess me. Can anyone give a guess as to why this is happening?

I have website built with freewebs.com. The explorer 7 is interfering.
I tried to go back and download Explorer 6 but it will not let me. If I delete Explorer 7 I am afraid I cannot get on the Internet to Download Explorer 6.
what am I to do?

I have redownloaded AIM and restored my computer, it doesnt help. The time shows up correct next to my screenname but not next to the senders screenname. THe time is correct on my computer and on the senders computer. HELP???

I know you have to be invited in if your profile is marked private. But, what if I wanted to get on my 14yr old daughters and see her profile?
These computer web sites scare me when thses kids put to much info on themselves. I also wonder who she talks to on this.
For those that say "mom., give daughter privacy-I have reason to want access. The biggest one is I love her and want to protect her.

Please appreciate that this is a serious question and I don't know what I can do to stop the wretched perpetrators - it also means I get loads of 'returned' emails that think it's mail from me. freedom of information and file sharing built the internet, but it is big business that holds sway today. copyright law says that if you have a tangible copy (one you can touch) of any original idea, it is copyrighted. does that mean that every time you visit a web page and download (copy) its content, you are in breach of copyright?
