I know you have to be invited in if your profile is marked private. But, what if I wanted to get on my 14yr old daughters and see her profile?
These computer web sites scare me when thses kids put to much info on themselves. I also wonder who she talks to on this.
For those that say "mom., give daughter privacy-I have reason to want access. The biggest one is I love her and want to protect her.

Well, I don't think there's any other way to view a private profile other than being accepted as a friend. So what you might want to do is just create a quick profile yourself and add your daughter as a friend..so she can accept you. Then you can view her profile.

Good luck!

And I'm 15 years old btw, I have myspace too, and moms should be able to view their children's myspace because too many people are giving away too much info on there.

In order to view ANY private profile you have to be added as a friend of the person who has the private profile.

unless you figure out her passwords, i think it's impossible to view the profile from outside without being an invited friend.
but i think you're right. a fourteen year old doesn't have the judgement to know what's appropriate in a venue like that. even as an adult, i get some odd propositions on myspace. good for you for protecting your kid.

I think the only way is to get her password and log in, or maybe make up an account, request to be her friend and view it or possibly if you know her email address and password you can go onto the myspace homepage, put her email address in and have the password sent to you (via her email address) and log in. They have this whole thing for parent protection thing, so maybe you can go to the myspace website and look around for that stuff in FAQ's. Good Luck! = )

You have to be a friend. Set up your own profile, (you will have to lie and say your 14 as well) Then ask to be added to her friends.
Otherwise the only way to check it out would be to log on as your daughter... You would need her password for that.

MySpace is kinda freaky, and there are lots of weirdos on there. I would want to know.

Absolutely I agree with protecting our children. If her account is private, You may be able to view it if you have an account yourself. You will need her email address. You may also be able to add her using her first and last name. GOOD LUCK!!

Contact MySpace, as a parent you can get access to the page. Read the fine print, parents can get on their children's accounts. I used that to get on one of my ex-girlfriend's account. That bithc was spreading lies about me. I took care of it.

try and find her user name and pass word, you can acess her profile through this, you may just want to ask her to scrap her profile, make one with a fake name and adress, so no rapists and f aggots can acess it and get to her.

Force her to let you look at her profile, or you take away the computer away. Simple

I think you have to be a member. Or you could try and figure out her password.
