Printers

My epson 680 & 740 printers have ink cartridges that are very cheap to replace. I am researching on the internet to buy a new printer & have looked at lots of makes & read lots of reviews. When I then look on websites for replacement inks, even pattern ones. they are all much more expensive these days. Does anyone know of a new printer that has ink cartridges under £5 each. UK answers please

I would also like to be able to scan and store large files as well as email them to other companies. I only need black and white print capability but would like to be able to scan in color for use in power point presentation. This would be used for business so I would prefer a laser and am hoping to spend between $700 and $1000 give or take a little.

From the minuite I got my HP 2570 series (all in one) I have had constant problems with the printer not recognizing the yellow. I sent it out for repair, they said they couldn't duplicate the problem, I've been doing this for a year now. after a cleaning I can sometimes get the yellow going, but as soon as I don't use the printer long enough for the ink to dry, yellow is gone again, I have gone through a lot of paper and cartridges (trying new ones)
Amy ideas?

I want to buy a B&W laser printer for home use. I've been suggested to buy Canon LBP2900 but others say that the quality of HP prinetrs is better. Whay do you think? Can you give me other suggestions to buy a laser printer? How about a colored inkjet printer for home use?

it had the need ink light on for awhile but then my boss tried to print and when it wouldnt work so he unplugged it and re-plugged it in and no power ! is this repairable or is it terminal ?

For instance: I set it to print page 2 of my document and it prints the first page or the last page. I have never had this problem before. I want the first page to have no header, and headers on pages 2-14. Sometimes it just keeps printing the first page. Does anyone know what might be the problem here? Thanks

What I'm looking for is something fast and clean that won't quickly run out of ink at a very reasonable price. I mean I'm not even really looking to spend 100 bucks. I need to print 500 or so black and white pages, and will potentially never even need color capabilities. Any suggestions? Cheaper the better.

I have a Dell 962 printer. I have just replaced the black ink cartridge. Yet I still get a message saying the ink level is low.
