my printer died......?

it had the need ink light on for awhile but then my boss tried to print and when it wouldnt work so he unplugged it and re-plugged it in and no power ! is this repairable or is it terminal ?

The ink light would not affect the power supply to the printer. While bad sensor could lead to faulty ink level indications, it will not affect the through put of power to the unit.
Check that you are in fact using a working poweroutlet. Further, check the power adapter in the printer, depending on the model, they are sometimes independent and both ends of the power cord need to be properly plugged up.

If both are in order, I will conduct the eulogy for the printer, it is DEAD.
