hi,
I want to share a printer but over the internet. my friend has the internet (as wel as me) over the road and I would like to print stuff off of her printer, but dont know how to. can you help?

not sure about sharing the printer over the internet itself as this may present security problems and would also have added complications of needing an ISP with fixed ip addresses etc. when you say over the road i assume that the houses are physically close. why not use a wireless home network? if you follow the wizzards that come with mose wireless access points you can make it pretty secure and can then share a network connection, files, printers, etc
