I need a poster size image for a project and i need to know how i can print out an image that big page by page with my home printer

1. Would help if you provided the printer model #. Might be some software settings that came with your printers that will do posters, some software it's difficult to find due to so many available options.
2. Another option is a free software called Rasterbator, it takes and image, makes your poster and spits out the pdf for you to print.

I have an HP printer... you will find that info in your printing preferences.
Right click photo icon
select print... to get the photo wizard
Follow instructions until you find..
finishing tab... printing preferences. Find poster printing. Might be a little different for your printer.

really depends on the capabilities of your printer and the software you used to create the "poster".

It might be quicker to go to an office supply store, and have them print it out on one sheet, they have those services available.
