Printers

I have XP and I have a lexmark. But everytime when Im going to install it keeps saying to connect to the USB when it's already plugged in and it's on. But it won't let me go to the next part. I keep restarting the dumb computer it's not working. I need to print something important but the piece of sh-- is not working >_>, Could someone please help me.

My computers spooler service won't start. When I try reinstall the printer it asks if I would like to restart the service. I click yes and it closes the installation and dosent restart it, this happens every time. I also cant restart it through the command prompt. Niether can i print things. I use Windows Xp Home and a Lexmark All in One X3350. I am hoping this can be fixed without reinstalling the computer.

I have my laptop setup as wireless (using a Netgear dongle) and my wife's laptop runs of the same wireless router (Netgear) using internal hardwear.

All of this seems a bit pointless because if we want to send stuff down to the printer we have to get the USB cable out.

Is there an inexpensive way to talk to the printer "wirelessly"?

I have Canon Pixma iP90 Colour printer and have been investigating buying some compatible cartdiges (instead of the expensive cannon ones!).

Ive found some on ebay that are about 25% of the price of the official cannon ones... Im just wondering if using them could some how damage the printer!??!

It actually started printing yesterdays assignments and then wouldnt do todays. i tried to restart it, cancel and when i hit my print icon in my toolbar noyhing happens. i tried to get it to print manually from file and nothing. thank you so much for your time!
