With a cheap printer at just over £30 and new cartridges at just over £20, it seems a good deal to buy a new printer and benefit
from new print heads and a full guarantee and maybe sell the old one on Ebay. What do you think?

My parents have a GE 8-in-1 Card Reader. They have photos on it that they want to print. The way they describe it to me sounds like a flash drive. If they put the pics on a 3 1/2 floppy can they print from the floppy or is there a way to print from this card reader? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance.

Normanlly I buy a new cartridge went mine run out of ink. This time I went to a place where they refill them for about 1/3 of the cost for a new cartridge. When I got home and place it into my printer is does not show that it is full.

I called the store and the lady said that it depends on the printer, sometimes it does not show that it is full. She said that it is full, and when it starts to run low the printing will be uneven. I could not challenge her because this was the first time that I have refilled a cartridge.

Is thise true? Although it is full it does not show on my printer icon.

Is there an alternate driver I can use that would allow me to take advantage of 14 7/8" x 11" bond dot matrix paper? The hardware accepts it but the driver windows xp provides does not give a media option that large.

My printer keeps saying I need to change the waste ink. I have so far found out that it is a sponge somewhere in the cartridge holder. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get at it to rinse it or change it or whatever I have to do. Also, if you could provide the instructions to reset the printer so it stops flashing waste in full at me. Thank you!

I have windows 2000 professional.it seems like when I added a printer before I was able to bring up a list of printers, point to the one I have and it added it to my computor. I recently had to reinstall windows 2000. this time the wizard asked if the printer was hooked up right now. When I hooked it up it brought up that I have the HP 610c. I have HP612C. when it prompted me to do a test page I said yes and it printed it perfect but when I tryed to print one of my e-mails all it did was print a couple letters and symbols. how can I bring up the list of printers like I did before?

Does anyone know of ANYTHING that is free that I could get to resize images to a certain inch, and print AT THAT INCH?

I have a photo that I want to fit a CD case, the case is 4.75 IN. Square, and I can get it to 4.75 inches high, but not 4.75 IN high...need some help here. I got it to be 4.75 inches square, but when I go to print it, it prints something ENTIRELY different from the dimensions that I plugged in.

I need a color printer that delivers excellent documents and photographs of different sizes. I prefer a machine that does not require a change of cartridges every 15 minutes (as my Brothers printer does) and can continue to print if I'm out of a particular toner.

The files copy manually. I only get an error when I try to go through the offical install program. Occasionally it does install. The printer icon appears briefly before it dissapears and it tries to install again-when it does it goes back to the file copying error.
Any help?

All the USB ports on my computer are taken up by devices. I need to purchase something so I can connect my new Epson Stylus Photo RX580 printer, plus my iPod, and digital camera all at the same time using high speed USB ports... Right now, I can't connect them all at the same time. I'm tired of unplugging one just to plug in another. What kind of product should I purchase? Thanks for your help!

Especially for anyone who's part of a company or corporation that goes through a lot of catridges and toner, what to do with the old ones? I've seen things advertising recycling or getting paid for them, like Office Max commercials, or some charities like Food for the Poor for instance, that recycles them and use the profits to support their own programs- (http://www.foodforthepoor.org/site/...... Is anybody familiar with any of these options, or know of any other beneficial solutions or things people do with empty cartridges, rather than tossing them into the garbage without thinking twice? It feels like a waste to throw them out when I see ways to, and organizations, that take advantage of what would otherwise be garbage.
