i have a new printer which worked on friday, but today it won't. There were 4 jobs backed up on the printing menu but when i select cancel all docs, one still remains, with the message that it is deleting. However, after turning it on and off it's still there. What's going on and how can i get rid of it.

Try turning off both your computer and printer, then restarting. The printing jobs have to be in either your computer or printers memory, doing this will flush them out. Best of luck.

Yes, like Nicholas says, flush the memory by turning both machines off, waiting a few moments and restarting.

If your still having troubles with the printer after that, try reloading the driver from its disk.

Good Luck.

Try shutting down the pc and the printer then wait a minute or 2 then switch back on and it should delete the printing waiting list (flush it away)
