I have a dell 725 printer, but can't figure out how to print in black, please help.?

Question

The printer has one slot for ink cart, and it is supposed to print in color as well as black, however when I print it comes out in either green or blue. it is very new, I got it for free with the purchase of my dell e1505 inspiron laptop

if you go to the printer section of your control panel, you will find the printer section. click on the printer and then right click to find properties. change the printer from color to black.

while in a document( or open a new document) go to file, find print then it will open a window to your printer, click on properties, then chance it to print black not color, save the changes and you should not have to reset it again.

Hey , Just call up the Dell Technical Support Guys , Then telephone number can be found on one of the cartridges or on the Laptop .
If the cartridge or the printer has any problem Dell would Replace the stuff !
Well but before that what i suggest is check out the Dell Printer Solution centre and in there check the status of the checkbox which says print color images in black and white
if this doesnt work then remove the cartridge shake it a little and replace it ! even then if it doesnt work then call The Dell Tech Support Guys , they do a great job over the phone !

once you've already replaced the cartrige you've a difficulty with the printer it self the printer ribbin for instance received't be detecting the cartrige interior the bay if that's the case once you've a warranty you may favor to call the manufacture and get it replaced this happens alot with hp and different elementary printers. the superb element to do is that if its over a three hundred and sixty 5 days previous get a clean one there not that undesirable in cost in case you bypass to Walmart.

you can go into the printer preferences (after you goto file then print) and have it print in black only hope this helps
