Normanlly I buy a new cartridge went mine run out of ink. This time I went to a place where they refill them for about 1/3 of the cost for a new cartridge. When I got home and place it into my printer is does not show that it is full.

I called the store and the lady said that it depends on the printer, sometimes it does not show that it is full. She said that it is full, and when it starts to run low the printing will be uneven. I could not challenge her because this was the first time that I have refilled a cartridge.

Is thise true? Although it is full it does not show on my printer icon.

The printer indicator usually is NOT accurate unless it's a factory fresh cartridge. Refill process does not reset the counter in your printer.

So I wouldn't worry about it. I don't trust the internal measurements any way. :) With the transparent carts, the easiest way to check for ink is to take them out and look.
