The files copy manually. I only get an error when I try to go through the offical install program. Occasionally it does install. The printer icon appears briefly before it dissapears and it tries to install again-when it does it goes back to the file copying error.
Any help?

if nothing works
1. remove(if any) installed printer programs
2. disconnect the printer
3. shutdown computer
4. disconnect printer and start windows
5. shutdown again and connect printer properly
6. boot the computer and try to install

Are you sure you are trying to install the correct drivers? You need the 9x version, not the NT or XP versions. Could be a bad CD or bad download, try downloading from the company's website.
