when i tried to connect to my printer wirelessly, it says my print spooler service isnt running. how do i get it running?

under control panel i only have:

appearance and themes
network and internet connections
add or remove programs
sound, speech, and audio devices
performance and maintenance
printers and other hardware
user accounts
date, time, language, and regional options
accessibility options
secuirty center

Worldneverchanges answer is likely the correct one, but his navigation doesn't sound as if it is going to match what you listed. It seems that you've listed the native XP choices that can be made for maintenance and administration. You have two choices: 1) to look for the Services control panel under the Maintenance section of your current menu or 2) change the view to standard 2000 and it will have its own icon.

Start, Settings, Control Panel. Administrative Tools, Services. Right-click on Print Spooler Service and select start.
