How could I install a Lexmark P6250 to my computer (windows xp) without the software step by step?

go to the lexmark website and go to downloads and download the drivers for that model

Plug in your printer and connect it to your computer when it's off, then when you turn it on it should recognize that new software or maybe say something else and should accept it if it's compatible.
