Why cant i print on an index card (8*5in) when i can print on regular paper: *the message shows :Paper Mismatch

Paper detected does not match paper size or type selected.
Change paper and press OK on the hp psc to continue job*
What do i need to do..?

I have an hp deskjet 5150. I'm getting no response from it. I've unplugged things plugged them back in. Checked the paper. I have taked the ink in and out. I've shut the lid out a million times. I'm lost. When i try to print my screen says connecting to printer..then it says jobs stopped. But doesn't tell me why. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

It appears that the ink has dried where it is supposed to come out, and I need to know how to unclog it, or soften it, or whatever to allow the ink to come out again. These cartridges are pretty much brand new, I just haven't used them in a long time. They belong to a Lexmark X75 3-in-1 printer.

i have run out of ink in my epson laser printer, but have some xerox ink powder from a xerox laser toner! could i refill my epson toner with that ink powder? And would it work and not harm my epson printer!

I'm attempting to print out a small 3 x 5 photo on my printer. I selected best quality and photo paper under printer preferences. I have fairly new ink. However, when I print the photo has a bit too much green in it. Is there a way that I can correct this?

I have two computers, both plugged into my DSL modem via broadband connection. I have one printer and unfortunately I can only plug that into one computer. Is there a way that I could get the printer working on both computers, maybe through a wireless connection on the computer without the printer cable plugged in.
