While you are in the Internet Explorer, click the mouse on the top menu that says' View' and then click on 'Text Size'. Then click on the next menu that shows and click on 'larger; or largest'.
That should help with the font size viewing.
Next, close the Explorer. Go to the 'Start' menu at the bottom of the screen and click on 'Accessories' then 'Accessibility' and then 'Magnifier'. That program will help you see your screen more easily.
As far as changing the color of the screen, you can do that also.
Right click the mouse one time on any open area of the screen. Then at the bottom of that menu, you will see 'Properties'. Click on that.
Then go to the tab for 'Appearance'.
Change the font size to 'large' or extra large' in that selection box. You can also change the background color of the screen.

To make the font larger in Internet Explorer go into the view menu and point to text size and then click on largest. I am not sure if you can make the font darker. You could also try using the magnifier in widows. To get to it go into the start menu, click programs, click accessories then accessability and finally magnifier.

Hi. Press and hold Ctrl and the "+" to make text larger, and "-" to make text smaller. MS has special high contrast setting for folks with eyesight limitations. The are in the "Control Panel". Good luck!
