I bought a new board and new ram i researched the ram and board they are compatible when i try to turn it on the monitor will not come on and there is a red light right beside the ram slots can any one help??

I think my screen's gone dull. I can still read pretty well, but the white background on the screen doesn't look real bright. It looks like the screen is at a bad angle and I've tried every possible angle. HELP!! Thanks!!

I purchaed a new KDS LCD display and I cannot get this thing to go into standby (orange) mode. I have triple checked the BIOS settings and have DPMS support enabled. I have also checked the Power Management Options in XP and have the screensaver set to come on in 2 minutes as the "blank screen" and the Shut Off Monitor to come on in 15 minutes. The screensaver works, but 13 minutes later, no standby!! Im at a loss, an I own my own computer repair business, LoL.
I have the Sapphire x1800XT PCI express video card and the standby did work with my Viewsonic CRT monitor. Also the newest ATI 7.7 Catalyst drivers Help!!!

My notebook monitor lamp is broken and I need to use multiple monitors option. But, when I try to activate another monitor (normal plug and play), it turns on but immediately the notebooks one take the action. I tried to make the second monitor a default one, but when I apply it, it gets back to the previous settings. Also, I disabled the notebooks one, but the same thing happened. To be certain, I dont want to use both monitors, but only that second one. Thank you so much.

I have a dell inspiron E1505 running on Vista. When I do digital paintings (I use PainterX, but I also have Photoshop CS2), the colors look great on my monitor. However, when I post them to the web, everyone says they look to dark, and that I should calibrate my monitor. How do I go about doing this?

Awhile later, the words...reboot, insert disc and press enter, appeared in the upper left corner of the monitor screen. I had no idea what to do so I shut everythg down overnight. I just bought a 22" lcd monitor.
It is awesome lol.
anyways the native resolution for my monitor is 1680x1050.
First if all, can anyone tell me what the aspect ratio of this monitor is?
Also, i have games that do not support such a high resolution.
What is the next best resolution to run my games at, so that I will still get the clearest picture, despite rescaling?

there is no scrolly thing on the bottom. Therefor, I cannot register to get on My Coke Rewards. This is making me crazy! Please help me so I can go on My Coke Rewards and can get this off my mind!

I just need to know if somehow you can readjust the screen so it it smaller.
-I tried to minimize the screen, but it still didn't readdjust and the scrolly thing on the bottom didn't appear as it usually does!

Wanting two monitors and when I go to 'display' and 'settings' it only shows one monitor, and from what I've read I need two in order to run duals. Do I just need to get a dual video card? Is that ALL I need? What about memory, if I'm only using it for general surfing or watching an occasional tv show? Thanks in advance!
