Hey there im gonna answer you like i answer everyone lol "Im studying PC engineering" and maybe this would help.
Your eyes hurt and sometimes you get headaches, am i right?
Well if i am then this is waht you do
1) Brighten your screen (Not too much)
2) Right click on your desktop and click properties
3) Click settings and then click on the "Advanced" button
4) Now click on monitor and under screen refresh rate, choose a higher refresh rate.
When your eyes hurt and you get headaches its because the screens refresh rate is set to low, and the flickering of the screen (Even though you dont see the flickering) hurts your eyes

I usually work in front of the computer 12 hours per day and i have finally solved all my problems with dry and irritaded eyes with a new facial spray specific for this problem. The name is DIFRESH EYE-FACE. I invite you to read about it in the web site of the manufacturer in internet "Difresh Shop"

Dim it, most monitors are bright as hell. My monitor is at 0 Contrast, 0 Brightness, and it's still bright.
