m thinkin of buildin a simple robot as our college project....since this is my 1st such project in my life, i wan2 kno wat r d requirements of a robots....

to make a long story short, i had to re-format my computer and lost a lot of important programs. i re-installed them, but a lot of infomation i need is on a memory stick. how can i transefer the info on the memory stick (price matrix, company logo) to the actual program's directory? please only very detailed answers... i'm terrible with computers... thanks!

I'm looking at getting a laptop (but I guess they call it "notebook" now) computer for college work and fun. One computer that I'm looking at says it has 4 GB RAM post-upgrade, pre-upgrade is 2 GB. What does 4 GB RAM do that 2 GB doesn't do? Is it worth the upgrade? And what would the upgrade cost be like?

My computer has become so very slow!!! I have increased its Memory to 120GB! Its config is Pentium 4, 2.28, 2.26GHz, 128RAM, Windows XP, professional
Infact it slowed down especially after d memory was increased! Moreover, its virtual, paging memory has to be expanded!!! please help.
The smallest of things, eg. Opening the mozilla or internet explorer takes 2-3 minutes!!! Please Help!

I have five things plugged into my APC Surge Arrest. A lamp, a high-speed modem, a printer, a monitor and the Dell pc. There was some lightning last night and now everything comes on except the Dell pc. Why is this? I am so very angry. Is the Dell pc damaged or something? Pls reply ASAP

I am having a problem with my printer. Whenever I try to print off of my client database by clicking on the print icon, (It worked fine before), it is now adding some code and background text that is not supposed to print. Thus causing my forms to be off kilter and and everything to be printed further down the pages. I have tried to re-install and also to update the drivers. Any ideas? please help ASAP.

When I turn on my computer the light that is supposed to come on doesn't. I can see my background and all of my programs when I shine a flashlight at it. Everything else works. I tried restarting it and letting it sit for a few days but I don't know what else to try. I can't afford to get it checked out right now so I want to see if their is any way I can fix it. like..on normal laptops...u can instal need for speed , warcraft , diablo n so on... just say i have a windows in a macbook..then i instal all the games in the windows ? can right ? the windows on mac got any restriction or limit ? compared to normla windwos on a laptop..is it ok to use a fake windwos when installing on a mac .. ???
