Yesterday I asked this same question and was given a run-around. For shame, CCleaner DID NOT remove the problematic program from my Registry and yes I have the responsibility of being concerned about it.
It came from a downloaded MCI shared Files Disk and is operating in MS-DOS and has planted the following hardware onto my pc: (1) Uni-modem Audio Controller operating through the Robotics 56K modem WIN 1806, (2) Multimedia Video Controller, and (3) Multimedia Controller. these devices control where a user can go and monitor all of his/her activities on the Internet including ones' email accounts and lists.

Ok, so I have the mac iBook, but I am starting law school and really need the new one with intel.

I was thinking about getting the macbook pro, but is it really worth the $1000 more than the regular macbook?

Also, the IT guy at school said I should wait until the OS comes out (he thinks October) does anyone know anything about it? I couldn't find anything on apple's web site. Will it be the "new" macbook or will they still have those and this be totally different? Thanks!

I have a 7900GS AGP video card installed on my computer right now. It calls for a minimum of 400W and a current rating a 20V. Well I have a 500W system (thats ok) with a current rating of only 12V. So far it has ran wonderfully. Do you think it will continue?

I have a AMD Athlon X2 3600+2.0 ghz pc with vista. 1g memory and a GeForce 6100 video card and when I play wow I often lag a lot and the framerate really sucks so I need a good enough video card that's not too expensive since they told me the one this pc comes with us integrated which is not good. Also need some cheap memory.

My PC froze up a few days ago, so I had no choice but to turn it off my holding the power button in for a few seconds. The problem was when I turned it back on the next day, the PC acted like it was the first time I turned on ever (like I just bought it) asking me how I connect to the internet etc the settings I want to use etc, and Ive had this PC for almost a year. Well that for the most part is taken care off, if nothing else it was annoying to go through the real issue is I am missing a lot of files for example my Napster program is still on my PC but my music files are gone, Microsoft money 2007 is on my PC but my file I use that has all my financial info on it is missing. Like I have programs still on the PC that I installed after I first got it, but a lot of the files I use with them are missing. Now could it be that I had a created directory the files were in and now they are just "misplaced", its hard for me to believe that the files just got deleted but most programs are fine

I dont know what causes it. I tried a system restore, anti-virus, anti spyware scan, and still dont do the job.

What happens is that every now and then, windows would automatically turn off. A blue page with white words would immediately come out saying: "Windows has encountered a serious and needs to shut down........... deleting physical memory......." (there were a lot of words and it was too fast to memorize what was there). After that, my laptop would automatically restart and says "windows has just recovered from a serious error".

There is also no pattern to this. No specific program seems to trigger it and sometimes it happens immediately after restarting.

Help. And thanks in advance.

im getting a white mac book for hughschool becasue its more advance than a pc. i think. anyways, im also putting windows XP on my mac, that way i can still play pc games like sims for pc. (and yes i can put windows xp on a mac, i asked besy buy) so when i do put windows on it, i can go on the mac version and/or the windows version whenever i want.
was this a good choice to get a mac? and is the mac too complicated for a 14 yearold?

After visiting PC world they have sold me a PSU that has slightly less Watts than the one which was installed already. They say this should make no difference to the running of the computer. Is this correct?

What will happen if i put it on one of the laptop's lots and its not compatible? How will i know if it is or not after i put it?

I will do it myself because i cannot take it to a store right now or ask someone else to do it for me. (private reasons)
