I tried to install HP F380 printer in my laptop with vista basic.
Does not install saying it does not support.The installation CD says it is meant for 98,2000 and XP. How to install please.

There is a Vista Driver for you printer on the HP web site. Look here:

pass to the HP internet site and in basic terms ensure you have the terrific suited driver. Having carried out that disconnect the printer from the laptop. deploy the s/ware and connect the printer whilst advised

Control panel, Printers, Add printer. Choose HP and your printer.
