I want to buy Mac Book Pro in August. But should I wait till October for release of Leopard?
There are several concerns for whether I should wait for Leopard.
1. Is Leopard going to be preinstalled on Mac Book Pros as soon as it is released?
2. Will I get a free upgrade to Leopard if I buy a Mac Book Pro in August? Becuase if it's true, I get a copy of Tiger AND a copy of Leopard.
3. Will the new release have compatibility issue for applications that are already working with Tiger.
4. Is there any other reasons that I probably don't want to upgrade to Leopard as soon as it's released???

Had a slushie on my bed stand last night & woke with it on my laptop keyboard!

It was open because I listen tomy meditation music while sleeping. I washed it off with a damp rag& even used a spray bottle to 'wash' out the keys while it was upside down... Did a bit of praying too.

But keys are sticking and it keeps adding periods to everything.It took a lot of work to even type this.

HELP! What do I do?

well,, somebody told me about pressing alt+ctrl+del and well, theres the Task manager window,, then go to Processes and right click on a program,, and u can set the affinity to whatever core u want.... but, how do i know if one of them is not doing its job.. and the other one is?

seems like the lcd panel on the macbook cannot get brighter. I don't understand. I can barely see the stuff on the screen, but its just to dark.

I've used the function keys, but it doesn't get brighter. I've ran an adapter to a crt and it works fine, just the lcd panel won't light up.

I don't understand macs. please help........................

What is a good way to sneak on the computer?

I am grounded from the computer... what should I do to sneak on it?
I HAVE MY OWN LAPTOP!!! its just my mom grounds me. since its a laptop, is there a way to sneak it without getting caught?

Ok, I will be getting another laptop, and I am interested in the HP Pavilion dv2000t . I have customized it to be liking, and I would like your opinion. I am going into High School, and I just want a regular laptop, none of that other stuff like way more memory then needed. I know people say more memory for games, and all that. Most PCs and Notebooks today claim to have Windows Vista preinstalled in them(before delivery). Does this mean they'll also provide us with the installation disc of the OS? Or they install it only for the first time?

When I start up my computer, I get this error message:

RUNDLL
Error loading w03de0e1.dll
The specified module could not be found

That's exactly as it looks. I have no idea what the problem is, and the computer runs fine.

Is there anybody out there that can help me?

i have 498MB of RAM
i have Windows XP srvc. pack 2
64MB video card
40GB of hard drive space
40GB of external drive space
2.66 GHz
my resolution is as big as my moniter will allow
and the game takes up about 4GB

i have about 36% of free space (including the game) on my hard drive

and its a desktop

if im forgetting something sorry just ask and i can give it to u

I have an HP Pavilion a1540n running 32-bit Windows XP. I want my computer to be faster, here are my current specs for ram:

Installed Size 2 GB / 4 GB(max)
Technology DDR II SDRAM
Memory speed 533 MHz
Memory specification compliance PC2-4200
RAM form factor DIMM 240-pin
RAM configuration features 2 x 1 GB

Does anyone has any reccommendations on how to improve my computers speed?

My concern is with the heat pipes near the processor, and whether that will create a problem with trying to fit a CPU water block (which requires an adaptor as far as I have seen from the Koolance line).
