Had a slushie on my bed stand last night & woke with it on my laptop keyboard!

It was open because I listen tomy meditation music while sleeping. I washed it off with a damp rag& even used a spray bottle to 'wash' out the keys while it was upside down... Did a bit of praying too.

But keys are sticking and it keeps adding periods to everything. It took a lot of work to even type this.

HELP! What do I do?

You need to remove all power from it, take it apart and clean the inside really well. Most keyboards on laptops come off, which is the only way to really get it clean.

It's OK to use some water, but you must make sure it dries COMPLETELY before applying any power.

Good luck.

Probably take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy. Try to get an estimate and try to beat it somewhere else. Don't you know somebody that knows somebody?

Well, either that or smile at the Geek in the Desk at Geek Squad and hope he'll give you some Ideas.

Just wrote this because I thought you had no answers. Little bit funny though.

Look at your keyboard and see if the keys can be removed. If they can, then pull them out and you should be able to clean the keyboard that way. Just be sure that you remember where each key goes once you're done. It is an honest mistake, I've spilled stuff on my computers too.
