Hi i dont know whaat processer Works On My COMPUTER. I Want a new one so i can play my game smoother.This is what i have Intel (R) Pentuim(R) 4 CPU 1500 Mhz, 1.50Ghz, intel atx,478-pin fc-pga2 1st MAINBOARD. And so i dont know what processer i need. can someone help me. I want one with atleader 2ghz AND CHEAPPP

Why do you think you have a socket 478 board? fc-pga2 is a socket 370. You would be better to buy a socket 775 board with a new processor. You have much more powerful upgrade options with that.
I could recommend some places to buy cheap if you are in Australia. In the meantime you can see what kind of prices that are available for the hardware that would be best for you ...

Who is the maker and what is the model. # A fc- pga2 can have differant chip sets and differant buss speeds Which means differant processors with differant revisions and core speed such as 133 266 333 etc...To help you we need this information, get back to us.

Try a Pentium 4 @ 3.00 Ghz
with 1gig ram plays FEAR maxed out game settings

no u cannot put an intel chip on an intel socket. u can only get a socket 478 processor, which they do not make nemore.
